Meet Our Teachers
The Best Educators
Gwen Song
Children's Introduction Class Teacher
Because I understand how challenging it is to learn a new language as I had to learn English when I first came to Canada, I want to help children who are having difficulties using Korean.
I volunteered as a teacher's aid for Winnipeg Korean School and have been teaching children's introductory class with SK Language School. Through this focused experience on teaching Korean, I learned a passion and responsibility for education. I enjoy the time I have with the students, and I feel proud and fulfilled watching them grow little by little. I promise to do my best to give more than just teaching!

Sunny Lee
Children's Beginner Class Teacher
Hello, welcome to all of you who are learning Korean. I believe that learning a new language will be a bridge to a new world. I hope that our children will grow into global talents who can better understand Korea and our culture through our language classes.
I help students with my 10+ years of experience to improve their Korean language skills in diverse ways so that they truly experience joy in learning!
Let’s have fun!

Eve Lee
Mature Beginner Class
I hope for the educational environment where my daughter could learn and enjoy Korean and the culture. So, I joined the school and started teaching last fall. I am an outgoing person with genuine interests in people and my students and I’m happy to help students who are learning Korean language the first time or who want to know more about Korean in a more systematized manner.

Jiyoung Kim
Mature Intermediate Level 1 & 2 Teacher
Hello everyone!
Nice to meet you. I’m Jiyoung. I was born and raised in Korea and moved to Canada in 2013. I am an U of S Chemical Engineering graduate and a current student of Accounting. I want to help promote cultural exchanges between Korea and other countries through Korean language as a tool of communication. I am not really an extroverted person but like to make new friends! In my free time, I enjoy watching K-dramas and baking!

Jeeyu Birch
Mature Intermediate Level 3 & 4 Teacher
Hello, there. My name is Jeeyu Birch. I started teaching Korean with a great enthusiasm from the first year I landed in Canada. I believe in the fact that it is impossible to fully understand the culture without knowing the language.
I have been a teacher in Korean language schools for 9+ years and taught sessional Korean classes in Canadian Public Schools for 2+ years. I do my best for children and adults, local or global, who are interested in Korea so they could have fun in learning!
